How does Dermalogica Microneedling work?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure in which the skin is revitalized with a microfine needle device. The body's own growth factors are stimulated. Skin cells regenerate and produce new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

The microneedling procedure from Dermalogica is painless and bloodless, as the very fine needles only penetrate the top two layers of the skin (dermis and epidermis). Depending on the skin type and skin zone, this can be 0.3 to 0.7 mm.

Course of treatment

Depending on the skin type, I recommend performing up to three ProPowerPeeling treatments before microneedling. Depending on the results to be achieved and the age, three to six microneedling treatments must be carried out to achieve a good result.

Before starting a microneedling treatment, we conduct a consultation (approx. 30 minutes). During this, we clarify which treatment goals should be achieved, which risks and side effects may exist and which preparations should be made for the treatment. You can then decide whether microneedling is the right treatment method for you. If you opt for microneedling and purchase a treatments package, the cost of the consultation will be credited to you.
